28.1 Million Families Receive Temporary Direct Cash Aid

JAKARTA, 29 November 2025 – The government has distributed the Temporary Direct Cash Aid (BLTS) to 28.1 million beneficiary families (KPM). Of these, 15.81 million families received the aid through state-owned banks and 12.28 million families collected cash at post offices.

Social Minister Saifullah Yusuf said the distribution is expected to be completed by the end of this week or next, while about 6‑7 million families are still undergoing verification with the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) to confirm eligibility. The verification is carried out by the Ministry of Social Affairs together with local social services, villages and urban neighborhoods.

BLTS amounts to Rp300,000 per month for three months, paid as a lump sum of Rp900,000 per family, requiring a budget of Rp31.5 trillion funded from the state budget (APBN). The government invites public participation to correct beneficiary data and notes that some citizens decline the aid because they consider themselves financially capable.
