Tax Corner in North Konawe Boosts Coretax Activation

On 18 November 2025, North Konawe Regency and KPP Pratama Kendari organized a Tax Corner in the Regional Finance and Asset Office (BKAD) hall. The event attracted more than 280 civil servants from various local agencies.

Tax performance data up to 20 October 2025 showed that only 64.25 % of the 1,326 ASN had filed their annual tax returns, and activation of Coretax accounts remained at 0 %. Additionally, monthly tax filing by the 83 local work units (OPD) ranged between 12.05 % and 22.89 %.

Wa Ode Hardiana, Head of Supervision Section V at KPP Pratama Kendari, said the Tax Corner aims to accelerate ASN readiness for the Coretax Administration System and improve regional tax compliance. Irwan, Head of BKAD Konawe Utara, regarded the initiative as a crucial intervention to enhance local tax administration.
