President Prabowo’s Programs to Use Rp2.568 Trillion in 2026

JAKARTA – The Indonesian government, via the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, has earmarked Rp2.5679 trillion for President Prabowo Subianto’s priority programs in the 2026 fiscal year. The allocation was announced by Minister Airlangga Hartarto at the National Chamber of Commerce working meeting on 2 December 2025.
The amount represents 66.8% of the projected total state expenditure of Rp3.8427 trillion for 2026. Funds will be directed to food security (Rp164.4 trillion), energy subsidies (Rp402.4 trillion), education (Rp757.8 trillion), health (Rp244 trillion), as well as UMKM cooperatives, defense and trade‑investment acceleration.
Such a large budget aims to strengthen food self‑sufficiency, provide affordable energy, and expand education and health services for the population. Implementation will be overseen by the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce to ensure effective use of the funds.
