Jakarta Province Launches Vehicle Tax Amnesty for Late 2025

Jakarta Province, through its Regional Tax Office (Bapenda), has launched a vehicle tax amnesty covering Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) and Vehicle Name‑Transfer Fee (BBNKB) for payments made between 10 November and 31 December 2025. Taxpayers who settle outstanding amounts within this window will not be charged any late‑payment administrative penalties.

The measure aims to stimulate greater tax compliance and ease the fiscal burden on residents. The penalty waiver is applied automatically by the regional tax system once payment is confirmed. Payments can be made at Samsat offices, designated service counters, mobile Samsat units, or via the SIGNAL digital application.
