The Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Indonesia, in partnership with DDTC, held a National Tax Seminar and Tax Clinic Launch on Monday, 17 November 2025, from 13:30 to 16:30 WIB. The offline event took place at the UI Auditorium and featured Director General of Taxation Bimo Wijayanto as the keynote speaker.
The seminar’s theme, “Reinventing Tax Compliance: From Enforcement to Cooperative Compliance”, highlighted the shift from a confrontational approach to a collaborative model. Cooperative compliance emphasizes transparency, dispute prevention, and open dialogue between tax authorities and taxpayers, while enforcement actions remain for non‑compliant entities.
The event was free and open to the public, with registration via an official link and a door‑prize of exclusive DDTC publications for attendees. It aims to deepen understanding of cooperative compliance, potentially strengthening fiscal relations between the government and taxpayers.
