Coretax Limits PDF Financial Report Upload to 25 MB

The Coretax administration system limits PDF attachment sizes for Annual Tax Returns. Financial reports may be uploaded up to 25 MB, while other documents are capped at 5 MB. Tax official Imaduddin Zauki announced the limits on 28 October 2025.

Coretax has been mandatory for filing Annual Returns since the 2025 tax year. The 5 MB ceiling applies to audit opinions, foreign tax credit evidence, and reinvestment proof for permanent establishments. The Directorate General of Taxes also offers an online simulator to help taxpayers prepare their returns.

These size limits aim to reduce upload failures and streamline verification. Taxpayers must compress files accordingly before the filing deadline of 31 Mar 2026 for people and 30 Apr 2026 for firms.
