Airlangga Proposes 786 Billion Incentive for Local Governments

Economy Minister Airlangga Hartarto said on 30 November 2025 that the government plans a stimulus of 786 billion rupiah for local governments.

The amount, which the minister has requested from the Finance Ministry, will be awarded to regions that succeed in keeping inflation low and expanding digital financial management, as recognized in the Bank Indonesia Annual Meeting awards.

The incentive is intended to reinforce price stability and digitalization at the regional level, and the final allocation will be decided after coordination with the Finance Ministry.
